Fire crews tackle small blaze at Highbridge’s Yeo Valley factory

-

Crews were called to tackle a small fire at a Highbridge firm on Thursday morning (October 23rd).

One fire appliance from Burnham-On-Sea and two from Bridgwater attended the incident at Yeo Valley in Lawrence Close, Highbridge at just before 9.15am.

Crews confirmed there was a small fire in the roof caused by a fire in a light fitting.

“Firefighters used ropes and lines to gain access to the area and inspect the light. They used a thermal imaging camera and removed the light fitting,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The cause of the fire was accidental and minor damage was sustained.
