A fundraising women’s evening is to be held at Highbridge’s Oaktree Arena this Saturday (July 1st).
The event at the Oaktree Arena in Highbridge will be held from 6-10pm, with tickets costing just £5 per person (over 12’s only), including a glass of bubbly on arrival and free entry into a prize draw.
The event first came to life when Somerset Breast Cancer Now’s late chairperson Christine Piper wanted an evening for women to have fun and be pampered.
“It only seems fitting in our 20th anniversary year to bring this popular event back in memory of a very special lady,” says the group’s current chairperson Holly MacBeth.
“So we have stall holders who will be displaying a variety of items from framed crafts, Phoenix trading, Jamberry nail wraps, Scentsy, Jewellery, Art, prints, Textiles cushions, Scarves, gifts, Bodyshop, Cakes, fudge, cookies, Xolat, Beauty, Marshmallow Company, Flavoured spirits, Henna Tattoos, Homemade cards, Tropic skin care & much more.”
“Visitors will also be able to pre-book to have treatments from hair, massage, nails, waxing, reflexology, mini hand treatments, with prices from £5 all pre-bookable. We also have a ‘private readings’ available to pre-book.”
There will also be live music from local bands including the Pink Bra’ss brass band. Tickets are available on the door or in advance by calling 01278 787331.
