A special screening of a hit movie is to be held in Burnham-On-Sea this evening (Monday) to raise money for the town’s Christmas lights display.
Burnham Chamber of Trade, which oversees the annual display across the town centre, says it has a funding shortfall and has warned that the display may have to be scaled back.
Burnham’s Ritz Cinema in Victoria Street is organising a special fundraising screening of the hit comedy film The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel today to help raise funds for the display.
The event, to include a raffle and refreshments afterwards, will be held at 7pm with tickets, priced £8, available on 01278 794123.
