The Somerset Riders’ Equipment Fund (SREF) have this week been presented with a cheque for £100 by Burnham-On-Sea Lions Club.
Lions President Andrew Bryant is pictured handing over the cheque to SREF members Diane Phillips and Sue Tomkinson at the Oak Tree Arena.
It followed a collection of funds made by the Lions at Somerset’s previous home match, the Sky Sports televised meeting against King’s Lynn.
Additionally, following the match itself, SREF made a presentation of their own of £310 to the Somerset Riders’ Tyre and Oil Fund, when Steve Johnston, the Rebels skipper, accepted a cheque on behalf of the club.
