An autumn fair in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (November 8th) raised hundreds of pounds for a local good cause.
The annual St Margaret’s Hospice Autumn Fair was held in St Andrew’s Church Hall, where a wide range of items went on sale, including bric-a-brac and Christmas greetings cards.
There were also refreshments, with ploughman’s lunches, cakes, teas and coffees served through the day.
A fair, tombola and raffle also proved popular with visitors after a start.
“It was a quiet start to the day due to the heavy rain in the morning but the visitors picked up later in the morning and we had a good day – our thanks go to everyone that supported the event, raising 582,” one of the organisers, Julie Draper, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
