Fundraising concert to be held tonight in memory of Georgia

-

A fundraising concert is to be held this evening (Friday) in memory of a popular Burnham-On-Sea woman who died earlier this year.

Local DJ Seb Doolan has organised tonight’s event as a tribute to 23 year-old Georgia Lavender, pictured, who died in September, as reported here.

The concert at Jack’s Café on Burnham seafront will include musical acts from across the UK, and will raise funds for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

That charity was picked by Georgia’s parents to thank the air ambulance team, who landed in Burnham and tried to save her life by flying her to Musgrove Hospital in Taunton where she passed away several days later.

The concert, starting from 8pm, will feature artists from across all genres of music including Nicky Blackmarket, Impact, Splinta, Anagram, Tommy Gun, Shabba D, Voltage, Bluejay, Ryder & Mooney and Trendsetter Soundsystem. Tickets cost £5.

Seb will be donating all proceeds to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance service and has so far raised over £500 through his JustGiving page here.
