A charity fete is to be held in Burnham-On-Sea today (Thursday) in aid of a local good cause.
A team of local youngsters on the National Citizen Service programme are holding the fundraising fete in aid of ‘Sensational Kids Somerset’.
It will be held at the Cassis Close playing fields on Thursday 27th July from 11am-3pm.
The event promises fun for all ages with a chance to paint on a mural, buy cakes and treats, play games, win prizes and more.
Sensational Kids Somerset is a support group for children in the Burnham-On-Sea area with additional needs and their families.
It is a fun, social group that provides friendship and new experiences in a safe, controlled and non-judgmental environment to help to build confidence and independence.
It is all about building a community of support and understanding, raising awareness at the same time as empowering children and their families.
