An afternoon tea raised funds for a good cause when it was held in Burnham-On-Sea at the weekend.
“A most enjoyable afternoon was had by all who attended Bridgwater and district Mencap’s afternoon tea on Saturday at the Avenue Tennis Club,” said organiser Shelley Bamsey.
“Sandwiches, scones and cakes were enjoyed accompanied by music from local group Bright and High.”
“The committee want to say a big thank you to all those who supported it and an even bigger thank you to the tennis club for letting us use their lovely clubhouse.”
