Motorists on the M5 motorway at Burnham-On-Sea faced long delays on Sunday (June 28th) after a car overturned.
Fire crews from Burnham and Bridgwater were called to the M5 between junctions 22 and 23 at 3.12pm.
“On arrival, the crews confirmed there were no persons trapped,” a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“One small dog was rescued from the vehicle and duty of care was left with the police after making the vehicle safe.”
