A busy road through part of Highbridge is to close for two weeks for major roadworks.
Bennett Road is to partially shut to allow contractors to complete sewer works.
The road will be closed from 18th September and is expected to last for 14 days to enable construction of a new foul sewer manhole and to provide sewer connection from new development.
“Every effort will be made to keep the duration of this closure to a minimum to reduce any further disruption,” says a spokesman.
“While the closure is in operation an alternative route will be signed.”
