Burnham-On-Sea Police have this week appealed for the public’s help after thousands of pounds of valuables were stolen in a burglary.
A property in Smith Way was broken into and a large haul of electrical items was taken away.
Wayne Baker, Police spokesman, told Burnham-on-Sea.com: “We’re appealing for the public’s help after a number of electronic items were stolen from a house in the Highbridge area.”
“The incident happened in Smith Way between 24th–28th July.”
“Two limited edition items were taken during the burglary – a red Playstation 4 – Metal Gear Solid 5 limited edition and a red XboxOne – Gears of War limited edition.”
“Additionally, a silver Sony laptop was taken together with a Delphi fault reader; a Red, Nintendo 3DS XL in Red with Red Case; a Red Nintendo DS Lite; a black Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 and a white Kidzstar tablet with orange rubber case.
“Also stolen was a Doogee X5 Smart Phone; a dark blue coloured Acer laptop; a 9ct gold ring, featuring a 1/3 carat diamond on top; a thin gold chain with “K” pendant; a silver chain with a silver and pearl pendant; a gold coloured XBOX 360 controller; plus three children’s money boxes (two superhero ducks and one Dory style); and a red Toshiba external hard drive.”
Mr Baker added: “We are appealing for second-hand shops to be vigilant and would also appeal to anyone who has been offered any of these items to contact us, quoting reference 5217172112.”
