Auction of guitars signed by legend Brian May will boost local groups

-

Ten electric guitars signed by rock legend Brian May are being sold in aid of 10 different charities, including two good causes in the Burnham-On-Sea area.

Secret World Wildlife Rescue, based in East Huntpspill, and Wildlife & Badger Care are among the ten organisations that will benefit from the special auction.

Pauline Kidner, founder of Secret World, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We hope that anyone who is a Queen fan will bid for these beautiful guitars, but if you play a guitar then one of these will be a fantastic and treasured instrument to actually own.”

“Philip White has worked hard to find a way to help charities close to his heart and I hope that the auction will be a great success for him as well as all the nominated charities.”

Philip, owner of Red Badger Records, has commissioned the unique instruments from Badger Guitars.

These candy apple red guitars are unique items with the Red Badger Logo and signed by the famous Queen guitarist, Brian May.

Philip has always had a love of wildlife and a particular soft spot for badgers. This was his idea to raise money for 10 wildlife groups that look after badgers.

“I have always wanted to take my charity work to the next level. This will hopefully be the first of many projects, and hopefully more, that are badger oriented,” added Philip.
