East Huntspill Parish Council and Sedgemoor District Council will be hosting a housing consultation event on Monday, 4th September in the village.
The free event at All Saints Church Hall, Church Road in East Huntspill opens at 3pm and will run until 7pm.
“The Parish Council are keen to see new affordable homes built that will help local people find a suitable home, at a price that they can afford in the place where they were born or grew up,” said a spokesperson.
“Visitors to the event will be able to meet and speak to staff from Sedgemoor’s Affordable Housing Development Team, East Huntspill Parish Council and the developers about a housing development proposal at New Road.”
There will be a presentation at 4pm and 6pm followed by a question and answer session.
Sedgemoor staff will also be on hand to talk to about affordable housing and how local people can apply.
