Annual Edithmead Flower Festival raises hundreds of pounds

-

A colourful flower festival held at a church on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea attracted crowds of visitors over the weekend.

Over a dozen flower displays with the theme birthdays and anniversaries were on show at the two-day event in Edithmead Church, which ended on Sunday (July 19th).

“We saw a good number of visitors over the two days and hope to have raised several hundred pounds,” church spokesman Richard Hawkins told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
