Computers and cash stolen in East Huntspill break-ins

-

Thieves stole computers and cash during two night-time break-ins in East Huntspill last week.

Burnham-On-Sea police are investigating whether the two break-ins, in Church Road and Willow Close, are connected.

Police spokesman Simon Whitby confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Computers and computer games were stolen during a break-in at a detached house in Willow Close.”

“In a separate incident, a garage on the side of a house in Church Road was broken into and cash was stolen from a car.”

“There is no indication of them being connected, but investigations are continuing. Anyone with information should contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

A separate night break-in occurred on the Highbridge Poplar estate at the weekend. The thieves managed to get into a property but were disturbed and fled empty-handed.
