A fire engine from Burnham was sent to the collision outside the Carbase car salesroom in Bridgwater Road at 6.15pm.
“Crews confirmed this was a two-car collision with all persons out of the vehicle,” said a fire spokesman. “The vehicles were made safe and duty of care was left with the police.”
The vehicles were both left badly damaged, and the occupants were ‘shaken’ but otherwise suffered no serious injuries.
