More than 300 people crowded into St Andrew’s Church in Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday evening (December 21st) for the town’s annual Christmas Carol Service.
A group of pupils from Burnham’s St Andrew’s School, above, gave a stirring performance of Christmas songs and carols alongside the church’s own choir.
Burnham’s Mayor Martin Cox was among the local residents giving Bible readings. Others included vicar Rev Graham Witts, St Andrew’s head teacher Gavin Morris, Burnham-On-Sea.com’s Mark Newman and Burnham Food Fest co-organiser Sarah Milner Simonds.
The service opened with the traditional carol Once In Royal David’s City and included Hark the Herald Angel’s Sing, O Come All Ye Faithful and The Holly and The Ivy.
