-

A day of rain caused flooding at a property in Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday evening (September 3rd).

A Burnham fire appliance was sent to College Court in College Street at 10.07pm where rain water was reported to be coming into the building.

A spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The fire service were called to reports of flooding within a property. Fire Control mobilised one appliance from Burnham-On-Sea to attend.”

“Crews confirmed water was entering. The flooding was due to local weather conditions.”

The roof of College Court is currently being replaced and the temporary covering was breached by the all-day rain.
