The Burnham-On-Sea area was featured on two simultaneous live national TV programmes on Friday (June 8th).
ITV1’s Daybreak visited Burnham’s Home Farm Holiday Park for a live segment about tourists who are braving the bad weather during the half-term holiday.
And BBC1’s Breakfast included a live segment from Brean’s Unity Farm holiday park regarding the state of the local tourist industry during the recent bad weather.
Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor, Ken Smout, was among those interviewed. “I explained that the Burnham area is great to visit whatever the weather and outlined some of this area’s many benefits,” he told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
