TV personality Michaela Strachan’s recent visit to East Huntspill wildlife charity Secret World is set to be broadcast on TV this week.
Michaela, pictured, will be shown in Wednesday’s episode of Michaela’s Animal Road Trip meeting one of the animal care managers looking after a young badger cub with head injuries.
The programme will air on Channel Five at 6pm.
“Michaela has always been a keen supporter of Secret World and has visited the centre on many occasions,” said Secret World’s Debbie O’Keefe. “Hedgehogs, badgers and deer are amongst the many stories featured on the series.”
Meanwhile, Secret World is preparing to open its doors for an open weekend for visitors to meet some of its residents this weekend. Doors open from 10-4pm on Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th and Monday 31st August.
Liitle Orchard dog training academy will be performing a dog display on Saturday, and ferret racing, birds of prey, badgers, foxes, bats and hedgehogs are among the animals that can be seen throughout the weekend.
