A Highbridge cleaning firm’s work featured in a new ITV1 primetime series called ‘Call the Cleaners’ on Tuesday (September 19th).
The Groves Xtreme Clean team were shown clearing a rental home in Highbridge’s Church Street where years of rubbish had been hoarded inside.
The new ITV series features the work of ‘extreme cleaners’ across the UK as they tackle horrendous clean-up tasks.
Craig told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were pleased to be featured – the landlady of the home had asked us to clear the property after the occupant had moved out.”
“The programme shows us clearing huge quantities of food waste, rotting debris and effluent which had built up inside the property.”
“The job was very smelly and took five of us about nine hours to complete in the kitchen, lounge, bedroom, bathroom and walkway – there was rubbish piled up everywhere.”
While Craig says the job was bad, he added: “I’ve dealt with far worse!”
