A Burnham-On-Sea fire crew was called to tackle a small fire in the centre of Highbridge on Friday morning (August 21st).
One engine was sent to the rear of a shop in Church Street at 11am after residents reported a wheelie bin alight.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames and damp down the bin to avoid it re-igniting. A spokesman said it was unclear how the fire had started.
