A new supper club for singles in the Burnham-On-Sea area has been launched.
Synergy Supper Club is aimed at professional singles wanting to meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere whilst enjoying fabulous food in interesting local venues.
Organiser Sophie Croxford told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I have been single for sometime now and been through the rigors of online dating with not much success.”
“What I really wanted was to be able to go somewhere on my own and enjoy a night out with like-minded people, meet new people and to sample the delights of restaurants and pubs in the area without the pressure of being on a date.”
“I find that when you are an older single it’s hard to find somewhere where you feel comfortable.”
She added: “Eating is such a sociable and wonderful thing and it seemed to me that if I could get some singles together in their 40s 50s (although not set in stone) and arrange dinners once a month, it could be a recipe for a great night.”
“I think it will go from strength to strength and will be a regular monthly gathering.”
The next supper is planned for Friday 30th January at a pop-up restaurant in Bridgwater.
The ticket price is £32.00 per person to include Processo (or soft dink) on arrival, a four-course Italian dinner, plus coffee/tea. Diners can bring their own drink to have with their meal. More details are available from sophie@synergysupperclub.co.uk
