Dozens of colourful scarecrows are on display in Brent Knoll this weekend during the village’s annual scarecrow festival.
More than 60 scarecrows are on show alongside roads, gardens and paths across the village.
The festival – which is being held for Girlguiding Brent Knoll – starts on Saturday 23rd September and continues on Sunday 24th September.
“This is always a very creative event which involves residents and visitors alike, with dozens of scarecrows to locate,” said a spokeswoman.
A Scarecrow Trail sheet is available to buy from the School Office and the Village Stores and costs £1. Completed Trail sheets will go into a prize draw for a cash prize.
All the scarecrows will be on display between the hours of 10am and 4pm. Within these hours, refreshments will be on sale at the Village Hall.
