Pirate-themed fun has been enjoyed by over 70 children at a holiday club in Burnham-On-Sea over the past week.
Burnham Baptist Church’s annual summer club, for children aged 5-11, ended on Friday (August 28th) after a busy week of activities.
Linda Ayers, the Leader of the Club, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Seventy children joined Captain Yo-Ho and Captain Heave-Ho to look for treasure that a mysterious pirate castaway had left for them.”
She added that that this year’s club, which was called LandLubbers, had focussed around a group who decided they no longer wanted to be pirates but wanted to live God’s way instead.
