Burnham-On-Sea’s Ritz Cinema says the opening of the heavily-hyped film 50 Shades of Grey has been a sell-out success.
The first two screenings of the film on Friday (February 13th) were sold out.
The cinema’s Pat Scott told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “There has been a lot of interest – it’s our busiest opening for a film since the last James Bond.”
“There have been lots of bookings from groups of ladies wanting to watch it. We’re showing it for two weeks so it should be a busy fortnight.”
The steamy film, based on the novel by EL James, follows an affair between student Anastasia Steele and billionaire Christian Grey.
