The driver of this car has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a dramatic crash in Berrow last weekend.
As first reported here, police were called to the overturned red Nissan on Berrow’s Village Green at 2am last Saturday after the driver lost control.
The car hit a telegraph pole and a sign post before ending up on its side, badly damaged.
The driver has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and driving without insurance, police have confirmed.
The 23-year-old man left the scene before emergency services arrived. The man, from Hertfordshire, has since been released on police bail.
