Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Town Council is inviting nominations for the towns’ annual Civic Awards.
The awards are given to local people who are deemed to have rendered outstanding service to the community and will be presented at the Annual Civic Service later this year.
Members of the public are invited to submit nominations in writing, by noon on Monday 16th March 2015 at the latest, to the council’s admin assistant, Mrs Lorna Brewer, at the Old Courthouse, Jaycroft Road, Burnham or by email at lorna@burnham-highbridge.org.
All nominations should include the full name and address of the nominee, and details of their involvement with community groups/the community in general.
Mark and Sara Cox-Conklin, who run Burnham’s Swim and Sports Academy, and Tony and Sue Merrett, who oversee the long-running Highbridge Monarchs Gymnastics Club, received last year’s awards.
