Mayor opens new £112,000 pre-school facilities in Berrow

-

Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor performed the official opening of a brand new pre-school at Berrow on Saturday (October 17th).

Cllr Derick Cooper and Parish Council Chairwoman Jenny Bentley cut a ribbon, as pictured here, to open the new facility at Berrow School.

It comes after a £112,000 grant boost from Somerset County Council.

“The funding has enabled us to open a new pre-school and extend the school’s overall facilities to offer full day care for children,” Annette Milburn, the school’s Day Care Manager, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“We are based on the school campus and offer extended schools provision between 8am and 5.45pm daily. We are open to three year olds plus.”
