A Burnham-On-Sea couple welcomed a VIP – a very important pooch – to their wedding earlier this week.
When Karen James and Ian Rowley tied the knot at the Webbington Hotel, their much-loved dog, Marley, had to be a part of the celebrations too.
The couple recently rescued the animal when its elderly owner found he was no longer able to look after him.
“The dog has become very special to them both, and as a special surprise, Ian arranged for a friend to bring Marley along on the day just after they got wed,” photographer June Hedges told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Karen cried with joy when she saw the dog – and they even had a mini iced version of Marley on their wedding cake!”
The couple were wed in an outdoor ceremony at the Webbington, as pictured.
