Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor and Mayoress have this week launched the town’s annual poppy appeal.
Derek and Christine Cooper launched the appeal with members of Burnham’s Royal British Legion and urged local people to dig deep to help the fundraisers.
Poppy collectors will be seen across the town during the run-up to the annual Remembrance Day commemorations.
The Legion is always keen to hear from local people wanting to help as collectors. Volunteers can call in to the Legion’s shop in Victoria Street, Burnham.
