Burnham-On-Sea Swim and Sports Academy’s Junior Triathlon Superstars team is celebrating success in this year’s South West Triathlon Series.
The series comprises of five very competitive multi-sport races throughout the summer at various locations.
“Congratulations go to the overall SW champions Macy Noad (1st) & Olivia Earthy (1st) and all Tri Academy representatives who secured top 25 places in the entire SW region!” said the Academy’s Sara Cox Conklin.
“Not only did our athletes excell in the series, they also won the Duathlon event held on the presentation day – congratulations!”
The overall series results were: Macey Burge (2nd); Oliver Chatting (2nd) Hannah Carter (5th); Lola Hughes (5th); Storm Munday (5th); Matilda Hicks (6th); Lucas Earthy (7th); Zachary Powell (7th); Mia Noad (9th); Poppy Burton-Dickie (10th). Adam Lyall (11th); Fergus Hammond (11th) Talia Hughes (12th); Missy Hicks (14th); Adam Lyall (14th); Finley Fooks (16th); Milly Fooks (16th); Ruth Day (21st); Ed Hardman (22nd); Alex Scot (25th).
