New rail users group to launch at Highbridge and Burnham Station

-

A new rail users group is being formed at Highbridge and Burnham Station – with commuters being urged to get involved.

The new group will meet for the first time on Thursday March 26th at Highbridge Community Hall from 3.30pm to 5.45pm.

“You are invited to get involved with shaping the future of your local station and train service – we are looking for champions to form the new rail users group,” said Station Manager Matthew Morgan from First Great Western.

“There are no changes planned for the station at the moment. There is a move to increase community engagement at all of our stations, so in partnership with Severnside Community Rail Partnership we are running a series of engagement evenings at a number of stations with the hope of getting people involved in their local station.”

Representatives from First Great Western, Network Rail and British Transport Police will be there to discuss current rail and station issues. Refreshments will be served.
