A night of laughs will be held at Highbridge’s Oaktree Arena this Saturday (28th March) when a professional Comedy Night is held for charity.
The event is being held as part of World Autism Awareness Week and is being organised by the local National Autistic Society service.
The evening will be run by a professional comedy group called Submarine Comedy Ltd, based in Frome.
Plenty of laughs are guaranteed from the line-up, which includes Mark Felgate, Stephen Carlin, Chris Norton Walker, Marcus Gill and (to be confirmed) Fitz plus Tim O’Connor as MC.
Tickets are priced at £10 per person and are available by calling 01278 760555 or emailing sw.services@nas.org.uk
In the immediate local community, the National Autistic Society South-West Services supports over 75 people with autism in and around Burnham, Highbridge and Brent Knoll.
“World Autism Awareness Week 2015 is all about doing something to stand out for autism, and the money raised through events up and down the country will make a huge difference,” said organiser Roxanne Faulks. “Come along and have a giggle with us and stand out for autism!”
