Police issue appeal after fail-to-stop crash in Burnham-On-Sea

Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward following a fail-to-stop crash in Burnham-On-Sea.

Officers were called to the incident in Marine Drive on Sunday 22nd March at approximately 1am.

“A male was hit by a vehicle, resulting in serious but not life threatening injuries,” a police spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“The vehicle failed to stop. The vehicle was later recovered in Plymouth by Devon and Cornwall Police.”

“An ambulance attended the scene and the man was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital.”

Police say their investigations are ongoing and anyone who has information should contact them via the phone number 101, quoting log number 55 of the 22/3.
