The candidates running for district, town and parish council positions in the Burnham-On-Sea area were revealed on Friday (April 10th).

Sedgemoor District Council’s Electoral Registration Officer made the formal announcement in Bridgwater at the start of the election process.

Burnham residents will be going to the polls next month to vote in the General Election, whose local candidates were announced here, and also in the District Council and Parish/Town Council elections.

The elections will take place on Thursday 7th May, with polls open from 7am until 10pm. The results for the parliamentary and district elections will be announced on Friday 8th May, while the town and parish results will be announced the following day.
