An Easter-themed competition at a Burnham-On-Sea bank has raised hundreds of pounds for a good cause.
Lloyds Bank in Burnham’s High Street has raised £227 for Children In Need by holding a kids colouring competition.
The winners were presented with their prizes on Friday (April 10th) by town Mayor Martin Cox and bank staff.
Branch Manager Bryn Henson said: “We were delighted to raise a good sum for our national charity of the year, which was match-funded by Lloyds. There was a great response from our customers and their families for the competition and we thank all those who entered.”
The winners were judged by Town Centre Manager Bev Milner Simonds, who added: “It was a real pleasure to be asked to judge the Lloyds Bank competition. There were so many beautiful pictures and choosing the winners was tough. It is really great to see a big brand like Lloyds engaging at a local level through simple competitions like this. It was also great to hear more about their fundraising matching scheme and the donation to Children in Need.”
