Brean Play celebrates accolade at national awards ceremony

-

The team at Brean Play are this week celebrating after scooping a top accolade at a national awards ceremony.

Brean Play won a bronze award at the British Leisure Parks and Piers Association (BALPPA) family entertainment centre awards.

The facilities were awarded the bronze position across the whole country in the category of large family entertainment centre – a category that the judges said was the most hardly fought of all the awards presented.

The judging of the awards was conducted by a panel of industry experts, as well as a ‘mystery shopper’ who saw just how the venues operated.

“It’s a real honour to be awarded the Bronze award,” Director Sarah House told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“To be the third best large family entertainment centre in the country is a fantastic achievement and I’m really proud of the whole team who all contribute to make the venue a special place to visit.”

Meanwhile, this Saturday (16th December), Brean Play opens its Santa’s Grotto for Christmas with its Elves Workshop and a Snow Globe.

Prices start from £6.50 for a visit to the Grotto and go, up to £16 for a Gold ticket that includes entry into the Grotto with a photo and entry into the Snow Globe also with a photo. The grotto is open daily until 23rd December and more information is online at www.breanplay.com
