Over £7,500 has been raised this year for local good causes from weekly quiz nights held at Burnham-On-Sea’s Ritz Social Club.
The popular weekly Friday quizzes have been well supported throughout 2017 for local charities, clubs and societies.
Tonight (December 15th) sees the last quiz night of the year which is being held for the Ritz Social Club.
Paul Hale, general manager at the Ritz, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We have been really pleased with the amount raised this year and all the support that the local people give to the charities and organisations.”
“Over the last two years we have raised over £16,000, which is a staggering amount of money!”
“Tonight’s quiz night is a free to enter quiz and all teams with receive a gift as a thank you from The Ritz.”
“The Ritz have already begun taking bookings for next year and the dates for Friday nights are filling up quickly so if you are looking to raise money for your organisation you are advised to make contact with Mike Barsby, quiz coordinator on 07936 538263.”
