Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Band performed a stirring festive line-up of music at their annual Christmas Concert in the town’s Princess Theatre on Sunday evening (17th December).
130 people attended the concert, called ‘Christmas Crackers’, which included a programme of festive classics and well-known tunes to get everyone in a seasonal mood.
The band’s Chairwoman Pam Fisher, pictured with the Mayor and Mayoress, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We had a very good turnout and were delighted to also welcome the Mayor and Mayoress, Bill and Frances Hancock. Our thanks go to everyone who came along.”
The programme included golden oldies, Christmas marches and new takes on old carols, as well as featuring numbers by local soprano, Beverley Parfitt.
