Burnham and Highbridge Town Council to hold annual towns meeting

-

Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Town Council will hold its Annual Towns Meeting today (Monday, 20th April) when residents will be able to hear about its work over the past year.

The event – starting at 7pm in The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre in Princess Street – will be preceded by an opportunity to check what is happening in the community by viewing the many projects that the Town Council manage or support through grants.

Any parishioner attending the meeting has the opportunity to ask questions on issues relating to the two towns.

“The Parish meeting is an opportunity for parishioners on the Electoral Roll to raise any matters of concern to them that relates to their local community,” said Town Clerk Denise Emery.

There will be talks on the Local History Trail by John Strickland, A Week in the life of a school Work Experience by Karis and Courtney, the Apex Parkrun project by Vincent Huxtable, and Neighbourhood Planning by Cllr Phil Harvey.
