Burnham-On-Sea’s farmers market returns to the town’s High Street on Friday (April 24th).
Over a dozen stalls will be set-up selling local produce including fruit, local meat, vegetables, cakes, cheese, pies, bakery items and milk from 9am-1pm.
Market co-ordinator Louise Hall told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We’ve been basking in wonderful warm weather and so alfresco eating is on everyone’s mind, whether it’s a picnic on Burnham’s seafront or a BBQ in the garden. We have all the options available at Friday’s market.”
“Burgers, bangers and steaks from Moorland Farm for beef, GM Country Sports for venison or Ellises Farm for traditional breed pork, with buns from Taylors and salad from Portbridge Farm.”
“Or you can fill your picnic basket with a range of gourmet Scotch eggs, which are proving the popular snack food of 2015, and treats from the Crafty Teacup including wonderful scones with jam from the Country Markets.”
