Members of Burnham-On-Sea’s Music with Mummy and Jolly Babies classes celebrated their final sessions of the year with a real festive feel.
All the classes, with children aging from early tots to three year olds, wore fancy dress and they were treated to a visit and gift from Santa’s Sleigh together with seasonal Christmas music.
The sessions are held at Burnham’s Avenue Tennis Club every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9.30am to early afternoon and feature fun music and play between parents and children led by Sarah Coles. New sessions will begin in 2010. For details, call Sarah on 01934 750571 or 07977 591847.
On Boxing Day, Burnham’s Avenue Tennis Club will be holding a social tennis tournament which all are invited to attend. It will run from 11am onwards.
The tennis club’s first social event of 2010 will be a Robbie Burns night on Saturday 30th January. For those that don’t like Haggis there will be a Scottish Stew. The three course Scottish meal will cost adults £7.50 and children £3.50. Tickets are now on sale.
