Sixth form students at Highbridge’s King Alfred School raised more than £3,000 during their recent Rag Week and have this week handed over the funds to several local good causes.
One student, Millie Taylor, who helped oversee the event, met representatives from Somerset and Dorset Air Ambulance, Guide Dogs for the Blind and BIBIC this week to present their shares of the money, as pictured here.
Jonathan Gaskell, Head of Sixth Form, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It was another very successful Rag Week. Well done to all involved – students, staff and the community at large.”
