E-fit issued in hunt for Burnham-On-Sea burglars after jewellery thefts

-

Burglars who forced their way into a block of Burnham-On-Sea flats and stole jewellery are being hunted by police.

Police have issued this e-fit of one of the suspects to try and solve the two burglaries in Manor Road on Tuesday 12th May.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said the suspects were disturbed by one of the victims and one jumped out of a first floor window.

However, the second man was confronted by a resident and the image has been drawn up.

He is described as Eastern European, about 23 to 25 years old, and 6ft tall.

“We’ve produced an e-fit of a man we’d like to question in connection with two burglaries from flats in Manor Road on Tuesday,” said a spokesman.

“The pair forced their way into the building and stole jewellery from both homes.”

“The suspects were disturbed by one of the victims, and one jumped out of a first floor window before he could be clearly seen.”

“The victim has, however, been able to give us a detailed description of a second subject after confronting him to enable an e-fit to be released.”

If you recognise this man or have any information about the burglaries, contact PC Nikki Adams using the police’s 101 telephone number, quoting crime reference 48971/15.

Alternatively, you can pass on information anonymously via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111, or via their website.
