A Bristol person has admitted killing a man who died from a single stab wound at a house in Burnham-On-Sea last July.
During a court appearance, Dominic Lacey pleaded guilty to manslaughter. It follows the more serious charge of murder being dropped by the prosecution at Exeter Crown Court.
21 year-old Lacey, of Newham Place in Patchway, has admitted the manslaughter of Joseph Pearce, 40, who Burnham-On-Sea.com first reported here was found dead at Churchill Close in Burnham-On-Sea on July 10th.
A second man, James Hobbs, 43, of Churchill Close in Burnham-On-Sea, denies assisting an offender. He was not in court and his case is due to dealt with at a later date on January 31st.
Police and an ambulance paramedic discovered the body of Jospeh Pearce after being called to a disturbance at Hobbs’s home just before midnight.
Lacey’s sentencing will be held on February 15th, 2018 so that it can take place after Hobbs’s trial.
