Police have said this week they are still seeking the public’s help in identifying two burglars who forced their way into a block of Burnham-On-Sea flats and stole jewellery.
As we first reported last week, police have issued this e-fit of one of the suspects to try and solve the two burglaries, which took place in Manor Road on Tuesday 12th May.
Avon and Somerset Police spokesman Craig Evry told Burnham-On-Sea.com this week: “There have been no significant leads, so we would ask anyone with information to get in touch.”
The suspects were disturbed by one of the victims and one jumped out of a first floor window.
However, the second man was confronted by a resident and this image oif him has been drawn up. He is described as Eastern European, about 23 to 25 years old, and 6ft tall.
“We’ve produced an e-fit of a man we’d like to question in connection with two burglaries from flats in Manor Road,” said a spokesman.
“The pair forced their way into the building and stole jewellery from both homes. The suspects were disturbed by one of the victims, and one jumped out of a first floor window before he could be clearly seen.”
“The victim has, however, been able to give us a detailed description of a second subject after confronting him, enabling an e-fit to be released.”
