Rescue crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to Berrow beach late on Monday evening (May 25th) to reports of a person stuck in mud.
A man was reported to be in a distressed state on the beach, prompting a call-out for Burnham and Weston Coastguards plus the BARB Search & Rescue team at 10.25pm.
“We were called to a man in difficulty in mud at Berrow and quickly got to the scene to investigate,” Burnham Coastguard Ian Jefferies told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Fortunately, the man was out of the mud when we arrived. He was checked over before being released.”
