Hundreds of pounds have been raised for a Burnham-On-Sea charity during a fundraising walk.
A group of students from Bridgwater College’s Learning for Life & Work Group raised £833.86 for BARB Search & Rescue.
The dedicated team organised a raffle, completed a sponsored walk and collected money during their walk, with Bridgwater Student Union donating £500 of the total.
A spokesman for BARB said: “We are very grateful for the fundraising efforts of this group, who put in a lot of time and effort to raise a super amount for BARB. The funds will go towards the cost of keeping our life-saving rescue hovercrafts operational along the coastline in the Burnham-On-Sea area.”
