One of the UK’s leading acts on the acoustic music scene will be playing at Burnham-On-Sea’s Ritz Acoustic Club later this month.
Ember will be performing from 8pm on Thursday February 18th with tickets priced at £5 each.
Ember comprises of Welsh violinist Emily Williams and Utah-born steel string player Rebecca Sullivan, pictured right.
Ritz Acoustic Club’s Dom Wills told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “They are a humorous, engaging and harmonic duo who play a mixture of British and American roots music that’s seen them compared to Indigo Girls and The Waifs. They are not to be missed.”
Based in Wales, Ember have performed at Glastonbury, the Big Green Gathering and the Fishguard Folk Festival amongst many other festivals and clubs across the UK. The duo are currently on their 10th anniversary tour and copies of their new album will be available on the night.
Tickets include the cost of a buffet supper and are available now from GC Music in College Street or by calling 01278 794434.
